STMicroelectronics’ flexible and scalable imaging digital-signal processors are designed for use with a wide range of CMOS image sensors from the Company. They implement advanced color processing and image enhancement algorithms in easy-to-integrate, self-contained devices. Running at full video rate, our ISPs can stream YUV, RGB or JPEG compressed stills or video data. Camera exposure control, white balance and focusing are performed automatically. The processors are all equipped with a power-saving standby mode to preserve memory content and achieve low power consumption. Our imaging digital-signal processors are ideally suited for embedded mobile or USB applications.
