STLVDS31/32
High Speed Differential Line Driver / Receiver

STLVDS31/32The STLVDS31 and STLVDS32 respectively are differential line drivers and receivers that implement the electrical characteristics of low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS).

This signaling technique lowers the output voltage levels of 5V differential standards (such as TIA/EIA-422B) to reduce the power, increase the switching speed and allows operation with a 3.3V supply rail.

STLVDS31/32

Features

Meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI TIA / EIA--644 standard
Operates with a single 3.3V supply
Low-power differential signaling with typical output voltage of 350mV and a 100 ohm load
Designed for signaling rates of up to 400Mbps
Differential input threshold ±100mV max (STLVDS32)
Typical propagation delay time:
     - STLVDS31 1.7ns
     - STLVDS32 2.5ns
Power dissipation (STLVDS31 25mW) (STLVDS32 60mW) typical per driver / receiver at 200MHz
Driver at high impedance when disable or with Vcc =0V
Low-voltage TTL (LVTTL) logic output levels
Pin-compatible with AM26LS31/2 and SN65LVDS31/2
Open - circuit fail safe (STLVDS32)
