In this special edition of Product News, ST presents several power MOSFET devices based on the Company's recently introduced, revolutionary and fully industrialized PowerMeshTM technology. Replacing the traditional cell geometry by a strip layout for the transistors on the chip, PowerMESH yields higher packing densities, dramatic reductions in gate charge and capacitance and the industry's lowest RDS(on)* Area figure.

World Number One also in the area of low and high voltage, high current intelligent power ICs, ST's Vertical Intelligent Power (VIPower) is based on the Company's proprietary VIPower M0, M1 and M3 processes.
These are vertical smart power technologies that allow a rugged power stage to be combined with on-chip analog and digital circuitry.
